The DSBN is reporting one COVID-19 case at Orchard Park Public School in the Falls.
Students and staff who had close contact with the infected individual are being contacted and advised to self-isolate at home.
The school will receive a visit from a Public Health Nurse and a Public Health Inspector.
In addition, custodians will conduct a thorough cleaning of the premises.
Orchard Park and the DSBN are working with Niagara Region Public Health to ensure safety standards are being met.
