COVID-19 Outbreak Declared at Hotel Dieu Shaver

Another worker has tested positive for COVID-19 at Hotel Dieu Shaver.

Niagara Region Public Health has declared an outbreak and the facility is now closed to all patient visitors for the time being.

Hotel Dieu Shaver's Infection Prevention and Control Team is keeping a close eye on all patients and staff members.

No patients have tested positive for the virus recently.

Two workers are currently self-isolating at home.

Select patients are being isolated as a precaution and their family members will be contacted.
