No one was hurt after a vacant hotel went up in flames in Niagara Falls.
Fire crews were called to the Pink Elephant Inn on Lundy’s Lane shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night.
The flames had engulfed a two-story portion of the building and it took them just over an hour to get it under control.
An adjacent hotel was evacuated out of precaution.
The department says the cause is still under investigation and it has not released a damage estimate at this time.
Hamilton Entrepreneur Conrad Floyd has been working towards turning the Pink Elephant Inn into an all-inclusive cannabis-friendly motel.
