UPDATE: The NRP is looking for a man, after an explosion in Niagara Falls.
Police say there had been an ongoing dispute between two men in a Fourth Ave home.
They believe a 34-year-old may have detonated a commercial grade pyrotechnic on purpose, before leaving the home earlier today.
He left with a woman, and they were last spotted on Huron Street.
Officers believe they may have a pitbull with them.
Four people were able to escape the burning building.
The scene is being held by detectives from the Forensic Services Unit and investigators from the office of the Ontario Fire Marshal.
Police say Tyler Sterling Rivard is wanted for the following alleged offences;
- Using Explosives
- Arson Disregard for Human Life

About $60,000 in damage is reported after fire in Niagara Falls.
Officials were called out to a home on Fourth Ave shortly after 10:00 a.m. this morning.
Inspector Roger Pigeon with the Niagara Falls Fire Department says it was a fast spreading fire on the ground floor.
They were able to extinguish the flames in about 10 minutes.
One person was taken to hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
The Office of the Fire Marshall will investigate the cause.
