Viking Cruises offering 8 day Great Lakes trip with a stop in Niagara

Viking Cruises will bring its new 378 passenger ship the Octantis to the Great Lakes.

The Octantis is 665 foot Polar 6 class ship.

The company is offering an 8 day Toronto to Milwaukee cruise with a stop in Niagara starting at $7,795.

On its website, Viking describes the cruise as a chance to "immerse yourself in the lakes’ compelling shipping history, experience the power of thundering Niagara Falls and keep watch for scores of migratory birds at Point Pelee. Led by a team of experts, explore sheltered bays and woodlands to uncover complex ecosystems and hidden treasures."
