Details of the agreement have not been released
A tentative deal has been reached between CUPE members and Community Living Port Colborne-Wainfleet.
A deal was made last night, but exact details have not been released.
CUPE 2276 members had been on strike for over a year while bargaining talks took place, with one of the main issues being workers stuck on shift for hours or sometimes days at a time.
CUPE is holding a celebration BBQ tomorrow from noon until 2:00 p.m. at HH Knoll Park.
Great news! Last night CUPE 2276 and Community Living Port Colborne-Wainfleet reached a tentative agreement, so Sat's BBQ will be a celebration of what workers can achieve when they join together! #solidarity #EnoughIsEnoughON pic.twitter.com/SGdfA7xywr
