Two St. Catharines communities join federal program that provides recovery support to southern Ontario businesses.
The City of St. Catharines says the downtown and Merritton neighbourhoods are participating in the My Main Street Local Business Accelerator program to help revitalize main streets.
The two year program provides recovery and revitalization supports to main streets in southern Ontario, and was developed by the federal government in response to the pandemic.
The downtown and Merritton street communities will be supported with a dedicated main street ambassador, customized market research, funding contributions for new and existing small businesses and data analysis.
