Suspect charged with careless driving causing death
Police have made an arrest after a deadly collision in Thorold.
Just before 8:00 p.m. on October 5th, emergency crews were called to the Highway 406 overpass on Highway 20, in response to a collision between a motorcycle and a Hyundai Elantra.
The driver of the motorcycle, a Pelham man in his 50s, was killed.
On March 31st, police arrested the driver of the Hyundai.
A 62 year old St. Catharines resident has been charged with careless driving causing death.
The identity of the suspect hasn't been released.
The suspect was released on a Summons and will appear in court tomorrow.
