Drug Bust at Queenston-Lewiston Bridge Turns Up Over 100 Pounds of Marijuana

Border officials find 106 pounds of weed inside commercial shipment at Queenston-Lewiston bridge.

More than 100 pounds of marijuana was seized by border officials at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge on Monday.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says 106 pounds of weed was found inside a commercial shipment that was manifested as "foam scrap."

During a search, a CBP detector canine alerted the possible presence of drugs.

A physical inspection found three boxes containing vacuum sealed bags of marijuana.

Investigators say the marijuana has an estimated street value of over $250,000 USD.
