The DSBN is reporting two new cases of COVID-19; one at Eden High School in St. Catharines and another at Park Public School in Grimsby.
The board has not released their identities but says anyone who came into close contact with these people will be notified.
Niagara Region Public Health will send an inspector and a public health nurse to both schools today to conduct comprehensive assessments.
Meanwhile those who were told to self-isolate at Eastdale Secondary in Welland will be able to go back to school this week.
The school reported three cases of the virus and they were all staff members.
