The District School Board of Niagara is supporting the province’s decision to close all publicly funded schools for the rest of the school year.
In its official statement, the DSBN says the move will ensure the health and safety of students, staff and the rest of the community.
It says there is still lots of learning to be done in the coming weeks, adding teachers will continue to engage with students through the Learn from Home website.
The DSBN will also move forward with its summer learning program.
It's going to offer a broad range of subjects this year and a lot more credits than usual.
