School expected to open in September of 2024
The DSBN announcing some changes impacting students in South Niagara Falls as it begins construction on its newest elementary school.
In a letter to parents, the board says students who are new to the area will go to school at James Morden while the new school is being built.
Parents with students at Kate S. Durdan, who are within the boundary for the new facility, have the option of moving their children to James Morden in September.
Transportation will be available for the affected students.
The DSBN says once the new school opens, in 2024, families attending James Morden who live within the boundary for the new elementary school will transition to the new facility.
To find out if your family is impacted use the school locator on the DSBN website.
