Eight people are facing impaired driving charges following R.I.D.E. checks in Niagara.
The charges were laid between May 24th and May 30th.
Those charged include four people from St. Catharines, and one each from Jerseyville, Listowel, Port Colborne and Welland.
In addition to charges, each individual also received a 90 day license suspension.
Police would like to remind the public that impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in the country and affects thousands of lives every year.
