Price break runs through February 7th
Today is the day we can run our dishwashers or washing machines through the day without having to pay a higher rate for hydro.
The province says the off peak rate will apply automatically to residential, small businesses and farms who pay Time of Use or tiered prices set by the Ontario Energy Board.
The off peak rate of 8.2 cents a kilowatt hour will be applied 24 hours a day for the next 21 days
The Ford government announced the move when we returned to Stage 2 of its pandemic plan earlier this month.
