Emterra Environmental has made one final donation to the Niagara Health Foundation in order to help cancer patients.
Earlier today, the company presented the foundation with a cheque of $27,098 in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
Over the last eight years, Emterra has donated $372,000 to the foundation through the "Make Your Donation at the Curb" program.
Through the program, the company donated $1 for every tonne of recyclables and batteries collected from residents across Niagara.
Emterra's contract with the region ended in October.
