Canview Drive-in for sale
The for sale sign went up today on an 84 acre parcel of land home to Niagara's last remaining drive-in movie theatre.
The property is listed at $10.8 million.
The descriptor on Revel Realty's website calls it a "generational, commercial investment opportunity."
The property is zoned highway commercial and also includes agricultural and protected wetlands.
A check on Canview's Facebook page gives no indication why the owner has decided to sell.
The last post on September 7th, 2021 explains why the drive-in closed earlier than usual.
The post goes on to say "We opened this year amid great uncertainty and feel we did the best we could under the circumstances. I am immensely proud of every one of our staff members and we all appreciate the support of our customers during trying times such as these. We wish you all the best during our off season and look forward to a hopefully more normal spring 2022."
