They will work to rule, starting today.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association will start taking administrative job action.
This means union members won’t write comments on report cards and they won’t participate in standardized testing.
This will affect English Catholic teachers across Niagara, and the rest of the province.
The union says the strike action will continue until a tentative agreement is reached with the province.
It also says further strike action, including a full withdrawal of services, may be necessary if the government doesn’t budge.
