They have ratified their agreement with the Ford Government.
Members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario have decided to vote in favour of the deal, with 97 percent of its members giving the thumbs up.
The three-year-deal includes salary increases of one percent a year plus four percent annual increases to benefits.
It also includes a two-year Support for Students fund to address special education, English language learning and mental health.
The fund is worth $89-milion and the ETFO says it will create 434 teacher positions.
The union represents elementary school teachers in the District School Board of Niagara.
