Heat warning continues
Environment Canada says we can expect the heat and humidity to be with us tomorrow and Thursday as well.
Daytime temperatures will be between 30 and 32 degrees with humidex values near 40.
The weather office says we should watch for the effects of heat illness including swelling, cramps, fainting, heat stroke and exhaustion as well as the worsening of some health conditions.
Cooling stations will continue to be made available in Niagara Falls at the Public Library on Victoria Ave. and the History Museum on Ferry St.
In St. Catharines residents can beat the heat at the Aquatics Centre and the Russell Ave. Community Centre.
Extended hours are also in effect for city run outdoor pools and splash pads.
