Teenaged passenger killed in 2 vehicle crash
Police were called to the intersection of Concession 7 and Line 6 yesterday afternoon, just after 2:00, for a crash involving two cars.
Police say a 19 year old male was driving a silver Suburu Impreza southbound on Concession 7 with a 19 year old female passenger.
The driver of the Suburu attempted to turn eastbound onto Line 6 when the car collided with an Audi R8 driven by a 39 year old man who also had a passenger in his vehicle.
The driver of the Suburu was taken to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.
The 19 year old female passenger in his vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the Audi were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing with the Collision Reconstruction Unit and the office of the Coroner assisting.
