Federal Green Party Leadership Candidate to Visit St. Catharines Today

One of the candidates in the federal Green Party leadership race will pay a visit to the Garden City today.

Dimitri Lascaris will discuss workers rights, social injustice and how we can transition to a sustainable economy in Montebello Park tonight.

The event will be held outside but everyone will still be encouraged to wear a mask and practice physical distancing.

Everything should get started at 7:00 p.m.

Elizabeth May decided to step down as party leader last November.

The Green Party will choose her successor this October.
