Lincoln, Pelham, Thorold, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines lift fire bans, with more municipalities expected to do the same
If you're hoping to have an outdoor fire, some municipalities are starting to lift their fire bans.
St. Catharines, Pelham, Thorold, Niagara Falls and Lincoln have ended fire bans, due to rain over the past couple of days.
More municipalities are expected to follow suit in the coming days.
Wildfires continue to cause issues in central and northern Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says there are 68 wildfires in the north, with about a third listed as out of control.
