Gunman among the dead
Five person are dead and a sixth injured after a shooting rampage in Sault Ste. Marie.
Police say a case of intimate partner violence escalated into shootings at two homes last night.
Around 10:20 p.m., the body of a 41 year old was found after police responded to a break and enter call.
About ten minutes later, officers received another call for someone with a weapon at a home.
When police arrived to the second house, three children were found dead, and a 45 year old was injured.
The children were six, seven and 12 years old.
Police also found the 44 year old shooter, who appeared to have been killed by a self-inflicted gunshot.
