Niagara Region Public Health is confirming 5 new infections today.
Meanwhile, Niagara Health says there aren't any patients in hospital with the virus.
At the moment, there are 52 active cases and one active outbreak in the region.
Over 629,000 shots have been administered, with 70.3 percent of local residents having their first dose, and 61 percent fully immunized.
