Niagara Health says this was caused by a water main break, Marotta Family hospital is helping
There's been a flood caused by a water main break at the Niagara Falls hospital.
Niagara Health says it is working with the city and emergency services to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, and there's no indication as to the extent of the flooding.
Niagara EMS is sending emergency patients to the Marotta Family hospital, but is still accepting patients who walk in to the Niagara Falls emergency department.
Niagara Health adds the Marotta site is handling emergency surgical cases, and, at this time, there are no plans to move patients currently at the Niagara Falls hospital.
If you had plans to visit loved ones at Niagara Falls, you're being asked to limit that visit.
