Policy will effect 64,000 workers
In a memo sent to employees yesterday, provincial officials say anyone not vaccinated will have to undergo an educational session along with regular COVID testing.
This follows an announcement by the city of Toronto that all its employees be double dosed or face regular testing.
St. Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik and city councillors sent out a release yesterday saying they are all vaccinated.
The mayor adding senior staff are working on a possible vaccine policy for staff.
