Former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney is recovering from prostate cancer treatment.
CANADA - The 18th Prime Minister of Canada is currently recovering from prostate cancer treatment.
According to the Toronto Star, former prime minister Brian Mulroney was diagnosed and underwent treatment in Montreal last fall.
His family says the 84-year-old will be back on his feet in the coming weeks. Caroline Mulroney, his daughter and Ontario's Minister of Transportation, says her dad is a fighter and she is thanking everyone for their support.
Brian Mulroney served as the Canadian Prime Minister from 1984 to 1993. He was also the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada from 1983 to 1993.
