Some fees being waived
All business licence fees, save and except for short term rentals for 2022 will be waived.
Town officials add new and existing businesses that require an annual licence renewal are still required to apply for a 2022 business licence.
It is estimated that waiving business licencing fees for 2022 will save businesses around $20,000.
The town hopes to recoup the losses from funding from provincial grants.
