Fort Erie Man Charged in Cannabis Store Robbery

Suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cannabis.

A man from Fort Erie is facing robbery charges.

Police say around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, officers were called to the Village Cannabis Co. store on Ridgeway Road.

A man tried to buy cannabis with a debit card that didn't work.

He forced his way behind the counter, shoved an employee and tried to hit another.

The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cannabis before being caught by police a short distance away.

The staff members were not hurt.

Facing charges is 22 year old Seth Curtis Woelke.
