The Fort Erie Race Track is pushing back opening day due to the province extending stay at home orders.
The 2021 racing season was slated to start on June 1st.
No opening date has been confirmed.
The Fort Erie Race Track says races will begin once the lockdown has ended and approval for horse racing to resume has been granted.
Meanwhile, Fort Erie's backstretch will remain open in order to provide care for the horses.
