Fort Erie Live Racing Consortium has announced the rescheduled day for the re-opening of the Fort Erie Race Track.
The 2021 season is now expected to kickoff Tuesday, June 15th, at 4:00 p.m.
The season was originally slated to begin on June 1st, but was rescheduled due to the province-wide lockdown.
The first phase of the provincial government's re-opening plan is set to start on June 14th, so long as 60 percent of the population gets at least it's first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Under Phase one, horse racing is allowed to resume.
Live racing will occur at the border oval on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m.
The track will remain closed to spectators, due to provincial regulations.
