4 are coming, courtesy of a federal grant of $116,000, to be placed strategically around the town
Four EV charging stations are going to be installed at locations throughout Fort Erie.
The town says back in March it was approved for a $116,000 grant through the Earth Day Canada Charged for Change Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program.
It's a partnership with Aviva Canada.
The double-headed Level 2 chargers will be at town hall staff parking lot, Crystal Beach, Crystal Ridge Arena and Jarvis public parking lot.
The town adds these sites were picked for high traffic zones, and even distribution around Fort Erie.
