Town offering free transit to EJ Freeland Community Centre
The free transit service will run until October 1st.
The town's CAO Tom Kuchyt says "It’s important that Fort Erie residents have somewhere to cool down during the hot, summer days. Unfortunately, due to unexpected damages to Kinsmen pool, requiring a substantial financial commitment, we weren’t able to re-open the pool this year. Although most Wards in Fort Erie have a spray pad, we felt an alternative option to cool down this summer was needed for all residents, which is why we are offering free rides on Fort Erie Transit to and from the EJ Freeland Community Centre to use the facility."
