Environment Canada warns that the region may have freezing rain today.
Rain is expected over parts of southwestern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe.
The freezing rain may initially be mixed with snow, and there may be ice accumulation.
Environment Canada also says that the freezing rain will likely transition to rain or snow later on tonight.
There is still uncertainty regarding the exact timing and duration of the freezing rain.
