In an effort to slow the growing number of COVID 19 cases, schools in Niagara and across the province will begin the new year with teacher led remote learning.
Elementary students will learn online this week and will return to physical classrooms next week.
High school students will be off until January 25th.
Niagara College and Brock University students will move to full online delivery of courses from January 11th to the 22nd.
It’s all part of an effort to stem the rising tide of COVID cases in Ontario and to prevent a possible surge from holiday get togethers.
