Full time learning goes online today for thousands of kids in Ontario

Those familiar yellow school buses will be missing from our roads this morning.

In an effort to slow the growing number of COVID 19 cases, schools in Niagara and across the province will begin the new year with teacher led remote learning.

Elementary students will learn online this week and will return to physical classrooms next week.

High school students will be off until January 25^th.

Niagara College and Brock University students will move to full online delivery of courses from January 11^th to the 22^nd.

It’s all part of an effort to stem the rising tide of COVID cases in Ontario and to prevent a possible surge from holiday get togethers.
