Facility will be home to this year's Canada Summer Games
Lara Verdone will transition from her current role as Assistant General Manager at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines, which is run by ASM Global.
The Canada Games Park is a new state-of-the-art sport complex, located adjacent to Brock University’s main campus.
It will host 5 sport competitions at the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games including athletics, beach volleyball, lacrosse, wrestling and indoor volleyball.
In a release, ASM says highlights of Verdone’s projects include Skate Canada, Scotties Tournament of Hearts,the Tim Hortons Brier, World Juniors, IIHF Women’s U18 Hockey, NHL Exhibition Hockey, the Memorial Cup, Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld, and the Tragically Hip’s farewell concert.
