Cancellation due to staff shortages
More GO Transit cancellations, this time impacting service between Niagara Falls and Toronto.
Metrolinx tweeting out this morning, the 6:39 Niagara Falls GO Train was cancelled due to what the transit agency calls resource challenges.
Customers were boarded on buses instead and taken to either the West Harbour or Aldershot GO stations where they connected with an eastbound train to Union Station.
GO has been plagued with driver and staff shortages since it required all workers to be double vaccinated or be placed on leave.
If you take GO to get to the GTHA you can use gotracker.ca to see when your train is expected to arrive at your station stop.
