Metrolinx says it's to ensure greater punctuality
If you take Metrolinx on a daily basis, keep this in mind.
Starting today, the company says the doors on all GO Trains will close one minute before their scheduled departure time.
The change is to ensure trains leave and arrive to and from stops on time.
Metrolinx says all GO Trains will be impacted by the new change, but GO buses and the U-P Express train will operate as normal.
The company says it'll monitor customers comments as to whether the change is a good idea or not.
