Fundraiser started by Niagara Falls woman to help with funeral expenses
A Niagara Falls woman has launched a GoFundMe to help her friend who just lost her 5 year old daughter to COVID-19.
On the Go Fund Me Page, Courtney Scott writes, she is asking for donations to help with the funeral costs for Ava- Mae Abram who tested postive for the virus January 2nd and passed away the next day.
Scott says all money donated will be given directly to Ava-Mae's mother Lindsay to help give the young girl "the beautiful send off she deserves."
The fundraising goal was set at $10,000 but as of this morning had raised over $16,000.
