The community has raised over $139,000 for the family of a couple killed in a crash on the 406. The parents of a Brock University student were killed after dropping her off at school earlier this month.
The couple was 51-year-old Kulvir Singh Sidhu and 53-year-old Kulwinder Kaur Sidhu.
They were driving home to Brampton on October 2nd and were hit by a car going the wrong way.
The car caught fire and the two were killed.
A 24-year-old man from Welland was driving the other vehicle, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
There's no word yet on any charges.
A GoFundMe is raising money for their funeral and their children's education.
Their 19-year-old daughter goes to Brock and their son is in university in Hamilton.
