Niagara Falls will be lit up in the Olympic ring colours
A special tribute is tonight in Niagara Falls in memory of a hometown businessman and former Olympian.
Niagara Falls will be lit up in the colours of the Olympic rings from 9 to 9:15 in honour of Gord Singleton.
He was born and raised here, headed Niagara Battery and Tire, was very active in the community, competed as an Olympic track cyclist and became the first Canadian cyclist to win a world championship.
For anyone who would like to join, Gord will be remembered at Table Rock at 9.
He passed away last month at the age of 67 from prostate cancer.
