Brock University is about to break ground, on a new $40-million residence building.
It will be able to house another 300 students, increasing Brock's on-campus housing capacity to almost 2,800.
The six-storey building will also include a new dining hall, a 24/7 service desk and a hub for Conference and Events Services.
Residence 8 is going to be built where Parking Lot M is currently located.
Crews will get to work on Monday and they should wrap up in the summer of 2021.
