The fundraiser supports both Habitat and participating restaurants
For the month of May, Habitat for Humanity is hosting a new event, aptly named "Home for Dinner".
The fundraising event supports restaurants and helps Habitat Niagara build homes for local families.
Residents are encouraged to order takeout from participating restaurants and for every $25 takeout order, Habitat's sponsoring partners will donate $5 to the organization.
From May1st to the 31st, you are encouraged to click here, choose from a list of restaurants and order a minimum $25.
Habitat officials say if the past year and a half has taught us anything, it has been the need to support our local businesses so they can survive and thrive.
