What started out as a community art project in Niagara Falls grew to be so much more.
The Niagara Falls History Museum has received over 11,000 hand knit or crocheted poppies through the Poppy Project.
The poppies came from across Canada, Denmark, New Zealand and 25 states across the U.S.
They're currently decorating the inside and outside of the Ferry Street building in honour of Remembrance Day.
The project started months ago and it's a partnership with local stitching guild Stick 'n Needles.
You can learn more about the project online here.
