A popular TV show will soon be filmed in Port Colborne!
Scenes for the fifth season of "The Handmaid's Tale" will be filmed in Port Colborne this week.
The production is officially listed as "Ruby Road", which has been the code name for "The Handmaid's Tale" in previous years.
The City of Port Colborne says filming will take place at 11 and 12 King Street July 21st and July 22nd between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Preparations are currently taking place until 7:00 p.m. July 21st.
Officials say crews will wrap up July 23 to 28th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Residents are asked to avoid the area during the above times if possible, and heavy traffic is expected in the area.
