Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it's due to possible listeria contamination
Better take a peek in your fridge to see if there's a certain brand of cheese being recalled by the government.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says to look out for Le Fromage au Village and La Vache a Maillotte brand soft and semi-soft surface-ripened cheese, due to possible Listeria contamination.
The affected products were sold in 150 gram, 200 gram and 275 gram packages, in Ontario, Quebec and online, and may have been distributed nationally.
The recall was triggered by a food-borne illness outbreak.
The C-F-I-A is investigating to confirm a link between the reported cases and the products.
