Health Canada recalling certain MamaRoo baby swings and RockaRoo baby rockers.
A heads up to parents.
Health Canada is recalling certain MamaRoo baby swings and RockaRoo baby rockers.
The products impacted include MamaRoo infant swing set models that use a 3-point harness, including models 4M-005, 1026 and 1037.
It also includes RockaRoo baby rockers with model number 4M-012.
Health Canada says the products are being recalled due to strangulation hazards.
The recall notice says the items have restraint straps that can dangle below the seat, and can cause infants not seated to become "entangled in the straps."
The swings are manufactured by baby gear company 4moms.
Anyone who has purchased one of the recalled items can give the manufacturer a call at 877-870-7390 or click here to receive a free strap fastener that will prevent the problem.
Consumers with crawling infants are also advised to keep the products in a spot where children can't access them when they're not in use.
