An overnight low near 21 is forecast tonight and will provide a little relief from the excessive heat.
The weather agency is warning air quality could be a problem as well resulting in the Air Quality Health Index to reach the high risk category.
Risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Experts suggest drinking plenty of water, schedule outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day and never leave people or pets inside parked vehicles.
Outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks in a cool place.
