Humidex expected to climb to 40 C
Environment Canada says daytime temperatures will climb to the low to mid 30's today and tomorrow with humidex values near 40.
Overnight low temperatures will only fall to the low to mid 20's, meaning no relief from the heat.
A cold front will move in tomorrow night with showers and thunderstorms bringing and end to the heat and humidity.
The weather office adding the hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can cause the Air Quality Health Index to approach the high risk category.
