It's the Thanksgiving long weekend, so you can expect some closures in St. Catharines on Monday.
The following city facilities will be closed on Monday October 14th;
- Arenas (Bill Burgoyne, Garden City Arena Complex and Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre)
- City Hall
- Community, Recreation and Culture Services administration office
- Community centres (Port Weller and Russell Avenue)
- Enterprise Centre
- FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre
- Meridian Centre (open for private rental)
- Older adult centres (Dunlop Drive, Port Dalhousie and West St. Catharines)
- St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre pools – lobby open for advanced polling
- Victoria Lawn Cemetery administration office (visitation available dawn to dusk)
The Garden City Golf Course, Morningstar Mill and St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will be open.
Families looking for something to do can also stop by Happy Rolph's Animal Farm or the Lakeside Park Carousel, before they both close for the season on Tuesday.
